Brass Finishes Shine in a New Custom Home
Designing this home with the family that built this home was a joy. They knew their vision! They selected finishes that really have outstood the typical elements we experience and we were impressed by their ideas and decision making. The champagne bronze finishes were the perfect jewels to accent the warm quartzite countertops and backsplash, deep mahogany colored custom hood, and some light gray tiles in the bathrooms. The art of cohesion was impeccable - carrying these tones in conjunction with blue elements inside and outside is true mastery!
Delta's shower head in champagne bronze sits elegantly against a marbled tile background, peeking through a sleek frameless shower door with matching champagne bronze hardware.
A mahogany stained wood hood sits proudly as the focal point of this kitchen, elegantly combined with a warm beige quartzite "Taj Mahal" and champagne brass pendant lights finish off the space wonderfully.
Blue siding creates bold but beautiful curb appeal in contrast with a warm wood entry door, white washed brick, and white trim.
Inside, blue continues to the fireplace with the color "Temptation" by Benjamin Moore. Custom designed with trim work picture framing and floating shelves to match the mahogany wood hood across the room. Featuring a gas fireplace and slate surround.
In the mudroom the same blue continues - Temptation by Benjamin Moore, to a custom made drop zone featuring a cubby for each (future) kid, bead board backing, and a top row for hooks. The hexagon tile is a nice subtle pattern and color that coordinates beautifully with white pendant lights and the Agreeable Gray painted walls by Sherwin Williams.
The foyer to the Sanibel is a stunning entrance and well deserving of a gorgeous statement light! This fixture is the 48" Austin Chandelier by Capital Lighting.
A blue laundry cabinet base is accented with a laminate, marble lookalike countertop, black cabinet pulls, and a patterned white and gray floor tile. Fitted with a shelf with hanging rack for clothes drying and a freestanding utility sink - this laundry room is ready to report for duty!
