Modern Elegance Meets Timeless Design in This Church Hill Custom Home
This home’s design beautifully balances classic elements with modern touches that we believe embodies the true vision of creating a warm and inviting space. The exterior features light taupe siding with white trim and black-trimmed windows, combining traditional architecture with a contemporary feel. The front porch and natural wood front door add character, while simple landscaping enhances curb appeal. The decking is composite in a natural brown color giving the feel of a farmhouse-style porch.
Inside, the living room’s neutral tones and cozy furnishings make it a perfect gathering space. A classically crafted millwork fireplace and mantel anchors the room, while wood furniture adds depth to a mostly white color palette. The kitchen follows suit with clean white cabinetry, leathered marble countertops, and gold hardware for a subtle touch of luxury. A professional-grade stainless steel range and custom plastered hood by a local artist is the center point of the kitchen, looking ideal for cooking and entertaining.
The bathrooms showcase marble finishes and brass fixtures, adding understated elegance. In one bathroom, wall mounted faucets over a marble backsplash creates a unique design element sure to wow the guests and family that gets the pleasure of using it! The master bath features dual sinks and a spa-like atmosphere, while the bedrooms are designed to be calm retreats with natural light and soft, neutral decor.
Outside, the intimate patio provides a serene outdoor escape, perfect for relaxing or hosting gatherings. Overall, this home blends modern functionality with timeless design, offering a stylish and comfortable living experience.
The heart of this home, the kitchen, features 3 main elements. 1st being the custom wood hood, where we ordered a custom made frame and had a local artist plaster it. In this application, the white plaster never truly matches perfectly to the white cabinets and white tile - and that's ok! That's what makes these elements works of art. The white color tones are complimented by a light gray, leathered marble, with an amazing texture only able to be appreciated in real life! The last element that ties the look together are the frosted white and brass pendants. Adding the perfect amount of character and retro-feel this kitchen deserves!

This wood-crafted mantel is the centerpiece of the living room, decorated with a black slate surround, herringbone brick interior, and furniture and art to bring it all together.

These wall mounted faucets are surprisingly simple to design around! In this bathroom we ran the countertop material up behind the faucets as a backsplash. The elongated framed mirror fits perfectly in it's nook, framed by two quaint light fixtures on the left and right. In the background is a spa-like marble tiled walk in shower, with a virtually invisible framed shower enclosure!

Ever wondered how to mix metals? This is a perfect example. Here we have a black and brass light fixture, brass mirror, chrome faucet, and other black hardware. Don't be afraid to mix metals! Not everything has to be matchy matchy :)
