Perhaps black and white seems to never go out of style. In this home we chose finishes that were both easy on the eyes and the wallet. Featuring a mix of wood flooring, black countertops, white cabinetry, and nickel and black fixtures, you’ll find many of our included finishes in this home! At Keel, we believe good design is first and foremost functional and secondly visually appealing. The “tuxedo kitchen” is a classic. No fancy trends here, just finishes we think will be around for a while. If you’re wondering what you can create with our base finishes, below are some examples! Keep in mind the effect of adding color and texture with furniture and art work (called “soft” decor") that can be changed out and replaced as your style and needs change over time.
A downstairs powder room features hexagon floor tile in a marble like pattern. Kept it classic with brushed nickel finishes for door knobs and faucets, but accented them with black lights and cabinet pulls. A lovely 3-color 1-pattern color scheme.
This simple kitchen includes Absolute Black granite countertops, 3x6 white subway tile backsplash, and classic white shaker cabinetry! Round globe pendants in black along with black cabinet hardware create a cohesive "tuxedo" styled kitchen, guaranteed to withstand the test of time!
A simple tub shower unit is decorated with nickel plumbing fixtures and matching gray-toned cabinetry. A great opportunity to dress this space up with color if you'd like!
